Xavs get the jump on Trinity! |

At Sportscover Arena, the Seniors won the last three quarters on the scoreboard but not by enough to compensate for a first quarter Xavs blitzkreig. Xavs won the toss and scored the first 11 goals of the match with the wind. While the margin had been reduced to 39 points by the final siren, total recovery against a team of Xavs size and experience was always likely to be mission impossible. In 1974, the Club won our first ever B Section flag, and the right to play in A Section for the first time. 33 years on, we caught up with Charlie Fellows, one of the better Old Trinity players on the day, and enjoyed some reminiscences of that era with him. |

After discussions with various councils, AFL Victoria and schools, the VAFA regretfully advise that the 2007 season has been postponed for two weeks and will now commence on Saturday, April 28. This will allow time to adequately prepare the grounds for a full season of football. |
