Rosco's Rant No 3 Print E-mail

I have been delaying writing this match report. Old Brighton were convincing six goal winners in difficult conditions at the nation of football, Football World. Old Brighton outpointed Old Trinity in every aspect of the game and deserved their victory. Most Old Trinity players put in lacklustre performances and lacked the consistency of past weeks. This can't be accepted!

Tom Oldfield played a very good captain's role deep in defence. He marked strongly, used the ball well and most importantly led from the front. Tom had very few friends. Richard Troon and Jake Gibson were good in spurts. Troon's third term was outstanding. Tim Lane tried hard across half forward, Andrew Marsden worked hard in the backline and Tim Delphine was solid in defence, though he was hampered by hamstring tightness throughout the game.
The final term was totally unacceptable as Old Trinity watched Old Brighton run harder, attack the ball with greater intensity and use the ball better. The result was a very disappointing team performance. There will be changes this week! Evan McDonald's 3rd's had a convincing win which means the better players from his team deserve the reward of promtion to the 2nd's. Josh and I will not be accepting performances like that again from an Old Trinity team.
